PVG Meursault ‘Les Narvaux’

Pierre-Vincent Girardin · 2023

FranceChampagne (Côte des Blancs)Chardonnay13.5% ABV

Sourced from 25-year-old vines planted in a high-altitude, limestone-heavy upper parcel of the lieu-dit, the whole-cluster grapes are gently pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in large, custom 456-liter French oak barrels (40% new) before aging 12 months on the fine lees without any battonage (stirring). The wine is subsequently assembled in steel tanks for an extra 7 months and bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve pristine mineral focus and reductive tension.
